Flat Amanda in Canberra, Australia!

This photo shows Flat Amanda in our car looking up the road towards Australia's New Parliament House. It was completed in 1988 because the Old Parliament House had become too small. Yes, it has grass all over the top of it...so everyone can walk right over the top of the politicians!

Here is Flat Amanda outside the Royal Danish and Norwegian Embassies in Canberra, Australia. We thought that she would like to see Denmark's little patch of land in Australia. Denmark shares its grounds with Norway. Flat Amanda was very impressed and even said hello to a few of the staff.

And here is Flat Amanda out walking in the bush with us. And who's that in the background? It's a Kangaroo, a grey one. This one is probably about 150cms tall when standing up as it is in the photo. Its beautiful grey fur helps it to blend into the background.

Another Kangaroo photo. How many Kangaroos can you see in this photo? You might have to zoom into the picture. There are three in total (that we can see). Two standing centre-left, and one leaning forwards behind the fallen black tree trunk centre-right.

On our way around Canberra with Flat Amanda, we passed the Finnish Embassy which is a lovely big glass building. Flat Amanda liked it so much that she asked to jump out and have her picture taken in front of it.

And here is the Australian Post box into which Flat Amanda dived to continue on her journey around the world. I sent her to my brother in... wait and see!

Best Wishes,

Travis, Alexandra and Aili Webb.
